The Semester on Peace in Fall 2009 is a resource of events, activities, and courses for participants to connect to the many education, capacity-building, and action programs that work on matters related to peace at UMD. In other words, we looked for places all over campus where "peace is breaking out." And we found a lot of them!
We invite you to follow our events calendar for what's happening during the week or plan your activities on our Events page. Look at the many faces of peace on our Participants page. You may be surprised to see who's there. Read essays by students, faculty, and staff on our upcoming Essays on Peace page, or find your own there. Discover courses that will further the study of peace on our Courses page or plan for a guest lecture in a course you're offering from our Faculty Resource.
